Call for Session Proposals COMING SOON

The 2024 Call for Session Proposals is coming soon!

Session Submission Information

  • All sessions must be submitted using our online proposal submission platform (Submittable). Session proposal forms can be find by clicking on the link below.
  • You will be required to create a free account on Submittable in order to submit a proposal if you do not have an account already.
  • You should receive an email notification after you have successfully submitted your form.
  • For those session organizers and additional speakers that choose to participate in-person, we ask that they block out the conference dates on their schedules until sessions are selected and time slots for those sessions are determined. APA-NC cannot take requests for specific dates and times.
  • The Conference Planning Committee accepts sessions on a “rolling basis." Meaning that the committee reserves the right to accept and inform submitters their proposal has been accepted starting when the first proposals are submitted.
  • Session proposals will not be accepted unless all required information has been completed. All speaker information including bios must be submitted with the proposal.
  • Session proposals are reviewed based upon the following criteria: quality of the program proposal, contribution to the mission of the Chapter, content of program goals & outcomes, program delivery style, and creativity.
  • Complete Lightning Round Sessions may have up to 3 mini-presentations (from separate proposals) that are assembled into a combined session of 60 minutes (20 minutes per topic, 1 speaker per topic).
  • Mobile Workshops must be at least 1 hour in length and no longer than 3 hours maximum. Priority will be given to mobile workshops that are within walking/riding distance of the convention center to ensure social distancing guidelines.
  • Session organizers will have the opportunity to accept or decline their assigned time slot.
