RFP - Zoning Ordinance Update

Town of Purcellville, NC

The Town of Purcellville is an incorporated town located in the western portion of Loudoun County. It encompasses 3.5 square miles and, according to a Weldon Cooper estimate, has a population of 10,594. Comparatively, Loudoun County is 521 square miles with a population of over 400,000. 

The existing zoning code was adopted in 1991, but has undergone periodic updates since then. The most recent Code can be found on the town’s website. The proposed scope of work is to complete a major update of the zoning code – basing it on the town’s most recent Comprehensive Plan (June 2020).
