Pitt County is hiring!  We’re looking for an energetic and motivated planning professional to fill our new Planner II position.  The primary responsibility of this position will be to assist with the administration and enforcement of the County’s development review and environmental regulations including the Subdivision, Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control, Stormwater, and Floodplain Development ordinances.

A Bachelor's degree in planning, geography, construction management, environmental sciences or a closely related field is required, as well as 2 years of experience in related work or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
