Planning & Zoning Director

Hiring Range: $87,500-$97,500| Full-Time + Benefits

Ready to shape the future of a growing community? We’re looking for a visionary Planning & Zoning Director to lead long-range planning, zoning, stormwater and floodplain management, and development efforts for our town.

What You’ll Do:

• Guide land use, zoning, and infrastructure planning
• Advise Town Manager, Council, and boards on planning matters
• Manage code enforcement, site plan review, and GIS tools
• Lead public engagement and mediate land use issues
• Oversee grant writing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) in Planning or related field
• Proven planning experience and strong leadership skills
• Knowledge of zoning, stormwater, floodplain, and GIS
• Strong communication, project management, and analytical skills
• AICP, CZO, and/or CFM preferred (or ability to obtain)
