Assistance is Now Available Upon Request from Professional Planners
The deadline is approaching for NC Communities to meet new state requirements (Chapter 160D) on Updated Comprehensive Plans.
PlanNC is a new effort to provide assistance to NC communities at no or very limited cost. The NC Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA-NC) is coordinating with 160D-trained, volunteer professional planners in the state and the UNC School of Government, in an effort to match planners with communities requesting assistance in completing these state-mandated changes to the communities’ existing or new comprehensive plans.
