The Transportation Planner II position is housed in the Strategic Mobility Division of the Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT) and is part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for planning Charlotte’s future mobility network and investments. This team collaborates across departments, partner agencies, and the community to achieve multimodal solutions that shape and support Charlotte’s rapid growth and development. Critical responsibilities of this Division include implementing the Strategic Mobility Plan, supporting implementation of transportation elements in the UDO, and the development and programming of multimodal capital projects.
