The City of Wilmington is seeking a passionate and innovative Transportation Planning Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the City’s transportation planning efforts through development of transportation and mobility plans for the city as a whole and specific corridors, coordinate with community partners such as the Wilmington Metropolitan Planning Organization and WAVE Transit to advance regional transportation initiatives, and help to deliver a wide variety of transportation projects that make our streets safer, more accessible, and more connected by working with our partners and securing funding.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in transportation planning, urban & regional planning, transportation engineering, public administration, or a closely related field of study and a minimum of three years of transportation planning or relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position.
